The Investors Foundation, which provides funding to nonprofit organizations that enrich the communities served by Investors Bank, has awarded a $5,000 grant in support of CDC Junior Theatre productions, “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.” and “Urinetown: The Musical.”

Rehearsals for Doubt, A Parable are under way, the cast includes Terry Darling of Cranford as Father Flynn, Janet Aspinwall of Edison as Sister Aloysius, Corinne Chandler of Woodbridge as Sister James and Tiffany Wilson of Plainfield as Mrs. Muller.
Audience members who purchase tickets in advance for the Saturday, May 3 performance are invited to attend a special, pre-show reception at the theatre and will have the opportunity to meet and speak with the director of the show, Gina Lupi.

Enter the “Dear Edwina” Student Art Contest at Cranford Dramatic Club Theatre. Send a self-portrait that shows what makes you unique. Entries will be displayed in the upstairs gallery and audience members will vote for their favorites during performances of “Dear Edwina” on Dec. 6, 7, 8. First, second and third place prizes will be announced at the last show. Entries must arrive by Monday, Dec., 2 and include the artists name and address.
