Artist: Paul Federico
Website About Paul: At nine years old, I learned oil painting techniques from William DeVieg, a restoration painter, in Tinton Falls, NJ in the Old Mill building. I earned my BFA at Parsons School of Design, and attended life drawing classed at the Arts Students League in Manhattan. One of my most influential teachers at Parsons was Herman Rose. Rose was included in a 1952 Museum of Modern Art exhibition called, "15 Americans," which also included work by Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock. Paul is the President of the Westfield Art Association and a member of Jersey City ProArts. |
